Quirky little cup - lovely to hold & perfect for your cuppa.

This unique square bottomed cup is wheel thrown in porcelain and altered when it reaches leather hard stage of drying.
I dart the bottom, gently fold the sides in, carefully joining all sides and then add a new base and the handle. It is then set aside to dry slowly under cover for a couple of weeks, then it's ready for bisque firing, decorating and final glaze firing. 

You then have a lovely, durable, dishwasher & microwaveable cup that's suitable for daily use.
